There are two general sizes of Plastic business cards. The standard type is just like a credit card in every ways which means in size, shape, and thickness. Normally there are just two colors available to make pearlescent plastic business cards and these are Gold or Silver on 30mil stock. The original color of plastic itself will be gold or silver and has a pearlescent glitter entrenched in the plastic that is why it got its name. It has the same polish of that of a pearl but its sheen depends on the light which is being reflected through it.  These types of cards are the source of vibrantly and brightness, and are especially being used if the logo of the company have same gold or silver effect on it.  You will definitely make an image of your business and your sophistication when you will give this type of card to any of known person.  

There are lots of finishing options for the design of these cards such as foiling, silk cards, and spot UV silk lamination are usually available. Foiling let you to add traditional shapes and designs in foil stamping on top of the card. You can get them in every color you want. Spot UV is the UV coating that is seen on most standard cards; however it is pressed onto the card in custom shapes, sizes, and designs. Spot UV reflective qualities can act as a trademark of your logo, any other design, is used to accent certain areas of a design, and shines when it catches the light. Silk lamination is exactly that a silky, thin, plastic lamination that is laminated over the standard plastic card. It will hide the extra thickness of the card. You can Laminating it with a silk matte finish to make it more smashing and attractive.
